Server-Wide Policies

These rules everywhere on the server at all times. No exceptions.
  Policy Description Circumstances
BANNED ITEMS
TNT No TNT in your inventory, or any use of it.  
Adminium No Adminium in your inventory, or any use of it.  
Minecarts / Rail

Our Railway systems are currently built and controlled by server admins only. All railways are intended for public use.
However, you may speak with an administrator to get permission for a small rail project within property you own.

 OK with Permission
Lighter / Fire No Lighter Use, Even use which does not result in damage to anything.  
Portal Creation Portal construction is restricted to administrators, all portals are intended for public use.  
Controlled Items
Water Bucket No Use which affects public property, or someone elses property - Use in one's own building is ALLOWED  
Lava Bucket No Use which affects public property, or someone elses property - Use in one's own building is ALLOWED, but use at your own risk, if it damages anything not owned by you, you will be punished accordingly.
  
Server Policies
Grid Wooden Door.png City-Related You may only build on lots you purchase from the town you live in. If you don't like your town, join someone elses, or increase your rank and form your own!  
Grid Sapling.png Deforestation All harvesting of resources is done in The Ether.  
Grid Diamond Pickaxe.png Mining All mining is done in The Ether.  
Common Sense Rules: No Bad Behavior
Iron Bars.png Theft Modifying contents of any non-public chests of which you are not the owner or have been given access to. Users may use /lwc to make sure their own chests are safe!!  
Grid Chest.png False Ownership Protecting a Chest that you did not originally create, technically becoming the chest's "owner".

Destruction of Property

 Removing bits of structures/pathways/signs that you did not build, or have not received permission to modify. OK with Permission
Sign.png Vandalism Adding bits to or modifying structures/pathways/signs that you did not build/create.  
Grid Saddle.png Being Annoying

Anything that causes other members to complain, or annoys a moderator/admin.
...OK if the admin tells you to go annoy someone. ^_^

File:No image.svg Anything Not Included Anything clearly dishonest, or disruptive to server security/wellbeing. This includes the global economy.  
 
World Rules - Main World

The Main World is where the main City of Maedoria is, as well as other towns created and maintained by various users. This realm is where the everyone lives and does business.

It is the most restrictive of all of the realms, to maintain a safe and fun environment free of griefers.

Grid Brick (Block).png Building / Destruction YES You can only build on plots that you own. Lots are available for purchase directly from the city with the "/plot claim" command. Make sure you read the Real Estate section first to learn about building restrictions.
Grid Sapling.png Theme YES Buildings, structures, etc must all be realistic. The laws of physics must apply to your structures, so you may not build things in the sky, or build structures without clear supports. The Rules page has important info on building code that we have not yet merged with this page. Different towns may have different themes that you need to aim for.
Grid Diamond Pickaxe.png Mining / Harvesting NO All mining and harvesting of materials must be done in The Ether.
Grid Iron Sword.png Monsters NO There are no monsters in the Main World. You must enter The Erebus to fight monsters.
Heart.png PvP NO

There is no PvP in the Main World.
 
World Rules - The Ether

The Ether is the primary place where mining and harvesting of materials is done. This world is reset occasionally to ensure a fresh supply of resources, so don't get too attached to your mines.

If you get lost in The Ether, look up into the sky for Sky Rings. The realm temple is located in the center of the rings.

You are not able to build anything in the Ether, but you can destroy stuff to your hearts content.

New users should take note that there are free workbenches and furnaces for public use in the gold-floored Community Center in Maedoria.
Grid Sapling.png Theme NO There are no restrictions on appearances of mines, tunnels, etc.
DIG, DIG, DIG!!
Grid Diamond Pickaxe.png Mining YES You are encouraged to mine in whatever way you like. Please be courteous in digging holes: add ladders to the sides of mine shafts if you are going to dig straight down. However, it is also your responsibility to "look before you leap"! It may take you a while to get back out of a deep hole, so be careful where you step!
Grid Iron Sword.png Monsters NO There are no monsters in The Ether. If you're looking for more of a challenge while you mine, head to The Erebus.
Heart.png PvP NO

PvP is disabled in this realm.
 
World Rules - The Erebus

The Erebus is similar to The Ether in that you may harvest resources here, but it also has monsters which makes it a more dangerous place. Because less users mine here, there may be more resources to be found. Also, some items and materials can only be aquired from monsters, so this world can be a great place to make additional money.

This world is reset occasionally to ensure a fresh supply of resources.

If you get lost in The Erebus, look up into the sky for Sky Rings. The realm temple is located in the center of the rings.
