Commands & Ranks
Using Commands

The commands listed on this page are listed in groups based on each user Rank

Users issue commands by typing them into chat. When a command listed below contains [brackets], this indicates something that you must fill in. Do not type the brackets when using the command.

For Example:

If the command listing is...

  • /town spawn [TownName]
And the user wishes to teleport to Maedoria's spawn location, then they would type...
  • /town spawn maedoria
If you remember the command but forget how to use it, you can usually type only the first part to find out the rest:
  • /town OR /town ?
Finally, the commands on this page are listed in menus that expand by clicking on and expandable box, similar to the one below.

(Cuboid Instructions) -->

To select an area, equip the wooden stick. Left click the bottom corner of the area desired to be protected. (A confirmation message will appear saying you have selected point #1).
Right click the upper corner on the opposite side of the cube area. (A confirmation message will appear saying you have selected point #2).

If you don't understand, the two points on your cube are points A and G in this picture.

After a proper cuboid selection has been made, you may then use /set, or /replace as is explained below.

/set [Block ID] Fills the entire selection with the specified block type. It will not generate these blocks for free, you must have the blocks in your inventory already.
/replace [Block ID Type A] [Block ID Type B] Replace all blocks of the specified block(s) [Type A] with another block [Type B] inside the region. It will not generate these blocks for free, you must have the blocks in your inventory already.
/copy Copies the currently selected region to the clipboard. Be aware that it stores your position relative to the selection when copying. This is important when pasting.
/toggleplace

Changes the behavior of how selections are pasted from the clipboard into the world. Also affects commands that generate shapes (spheres, cylinders, etc).

By default, when you use /copy it makes note of where you are relative to your Point #1 selection. If you have moved, when you /paste the contents will also have moved based on how far you have moved. Direction you are facing when copying or pasting irrelevant, use /rotate tif necessary.

If you use /toggleplace, you can paste the contents of the clipboard relative to a NEW Point #1 that you select. After copying, select a new Point #1. When you /paste, the contents will be pasted relative to where your OLD Point #1 was.

If you dont understand, experiment with /toggleplace before using /paste.

/paste

Pastes the cuboid selection to the map.

/save Save the copied cuboid to a file for later use.
/load Load the saved cuboid selection into the clipboard.
/rotate [Angle in degrees] Rotates the contents of the clipboard.
/flip [Direction] Flips the contents of the clipboard.
/undo You'll be using this often! Allows you to undo any of these cuboid-related commands. Usually it works fine, but sometimes it won't restore properly and you'll need to fix things manually. You may use /undo multiple times, but it may not remember as far back as you'd like to be careful. Particularly poor when used in conjunction with /move, /rotate, /expand. Also may not properly reinstate signs, torches, etc.
/redo Redo your last undone action. For those who can't make up their mind.
/move [count] [direction] [block-id] Move the selection's contents in the given direction. If you don't specify a direction, it will shift things in the direction you are facing. Additionally, a block type can be specified to fill in the left over area.

/expand [amount] [negative-amount] [direction] Expands the selection in two directions at once.
/contract [amount] [direction] Contracts the selection in the direction you are looking, or the specified direction.
/contract [amount] [negative-amount] [direction] Contracts the selection in two directions at once.
/outset [amount] Expands the selection in every direction at once by a given amount.
/inset [amount] Contracts the selection in every direction at once by a given amount.
/shift [amount] [direction] Moves the selection region. It does not move the selection's contents.

Jr. Moderators & Moderators Group name: "mod"

Moderators have proven themselves to be reliable, trustworthy, cooperative, play often, and above all are NOT mischievous! Their judgement will be final in any user disputes. Administrators have placed their trust in Moderators to be honest and not abuse any powers given to them. Their purpose is to maintain order, resolve disputes, monitor and punish bad behavior (outlined in the Rules section) and handle other minor issues.

There is no guanteed way to become a mod, however most of our mods have the following qualifications:

  • Online Frequently
  • Help new users without being asked to
  • Never commited any serious crime on our server
  • Available to chat in our Ventrilo channel
  • Polite and Mature when chatting
  • High Rank (Such as Diamond/Adminium, since they will need to know how most server commands work before helping others with them)

Do NOT ask to become a mod, or ask "How do I become mod?" in chat.

Administrators Group name: "admin"

Administrators are typically referred to as the 'gods' of a server, because their decision is final and you definitely don't want to anger them. Admins can over-rule moderators, but will usually admins will agree with moderators' decisions.

They are also in charge of making sure the server functions properly, and intend to provide a safe, fair, and fun playspace for all users. If something on the server is not working properly, ask a Moderator first. They probably know the answer and are easier to get ahold of than administrators. If the Moderator doesn't know how to help you, they may tell you to contact an Administrator instead. Try to direct your concerns to Mayors and Moderators before contacting Administrators.
